Mio receives the final package. The tube is blue. The Polaroid this time shows herself — eyes already scratched out.

She tries to resist. She breaks her brushes, cuts her fingers, blinds herself with bleach. Nothing works. In the last eight pages there is no dialogue, only full-spread panels:

• Her hands, moving on their own, mixing the blue.
• The canvas slowly filling with an endless deep ocean.
• Mio’s face reflected in the wet paint, smiling though she is screaming.
• Final page: a single close-up of the finished portrait. It is Mio, floating peacefully underwater, hair spreading like ink, eyes gently closed. Below the painting, in her own handwriting that she does not remember writing:

「これで、完成。」 (“Now, it’s complete.”)
